The giveaways just keep coming
In an effort to end what's been a pretty rough week in my part of the world on a high note, I'm really happy to present another very, very cool giveaway offer from the good people at Uprinting. In this giveaway, the prize is one 24" x 36" high-quality vinyl banner with grommets. Banner printing of these dimensions normally retails for $62, but your cost here is FREE, along with FREE shipping.
Why a banner?
Well, you can use a free banner like this one to advertise your business, a special event like a wedding (maybe a divorce?) or a graduation, or whatever your exhibitionistic little heart desires. Personally, I'd order a giant Canadian flag in honor of my citizenship card application, which is probably parked on a desk somewere in Ottowa Ottawa (corrected - thanks, Gord).
To enter, simply leave a comment on this post describing what you would do with the banner and I'll pick the winner via random drawing on October 31. Fellow bloggers, if you advertise this giveaway on your own blog, let me know: That'll score you an additional contest entry.
Have fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing your ideas!

I think I would have a few of my garden photos printed on it and hang it the basement by my seed-starting area. It would be good motivation to get down there and get the seeds started!
Good to hear of your application to join us in Canada ( it's spelled Ottawa) Maybe I could put a good word in for you. It's a great place to grow and protect your dollars.
I guess I'd have a rendering of my banner along with "p101.ca" and then I'd have to figure out where to hang it.
Hello good luck on your move to Canada. I did the same to England a couple of years ago.
I'm use the banner for a booth display for whenever our neighborhood historical society participates in community festivals.
Don't need a banner personally, but are you really moving to Canada? What's going on?
Sorry, I think I used some misleading wording in this post. I'm not moving to Canada. Thanks to a change in how Canada defines citizenship, I automatically became a Canadian citizen on April 17. Unfortunately, I can't prove it or establish right of residence (which is important in case one day I do decide to move) without a citizenship card, so that's what I've applied for. I submitted an application, a couple of horrid photos, and proof of citizenship eligibility to be evaluated by the government in accordance with the new law in July, and the turnaround time is approximately a year since the Canadian government has been flooded with applications from other new citizens doing the same thing.
I corrected the misleading verbiage in the post. Thanks for flagging it!
Hey, nothing wrong with having a fall back option / insurance policy, right?
I would make a banner for my mom's classroom, since they don't get funding for anything fun.
My daughter will be graduating from high school May 2010. I would use the Banner prize for a Graduation Party Banner for her & her friends=)
Thanks for a chance!
